How many exercises for the back?

I’ve been on the Bodybuilding.com website, and I printed off a workout sheet which said how many sets I should do for each muscle. For the back it said up to 6 exercises per workout. Should I do one exercise for the back, or mix them up like 2 sets of pull ups, 2 sets or barbell rows and 2 sets of dumbbell shrugs? Thanks

Train your back on the same day as you train your chest, as the two muslce groups are complementary. For every chest exercise you do, do a back exercise, to make sure you stay in proportion.

There are a few to choose from:

Overhand pullups
Lat pulldowns (wide and narrow)
Reverse flyes
Bent over deadlifts

Mix them up each time with your chest exercise – don’t always do the same ones in a row.
