Well your back muscles will adapt to it most likely after a short while, if not heighten the incline that way it takes the pressure off the back to hold you up. Remember to keep your abdominals tight during your workouts, it keeps the back straight.

Let your back rest for a few days. AND by all means consult a trainer or staff at the gym for guidance in the proper method for your workout. Don’t risk injuring your back. You may have to live with it and pain for the rest of your life.
