I don’t know if I should start letting him go outside to potty or wait because he is so young and keep using the puppy pads. I’m in the process of paper training him as of now.

I would start straight away and never allow or encourage going to the toilet indoors. You will have accidents of course, but be patient and vigilent. Do not allow access to the whole house – only let him loose in the room you are in. If you train him on pads – you will have to re-train all over again, and that won’t be easy. Start as you mean to go on.

I have heard that the Easy Walk and Sense-ation harness are good, although I can’t seem to find a UK store that sells the Sense-ation.

Also the Ezy dog harness is supposed to be good.

Are there ant dog trainers or pet owners with any ideas on which is best. I currently just have a collar.

Neither a collar or a harness stops a dog from pulling
the dog pulls – you pull – the dog pulls more
consistent training is the answer- dont give up and insist on what you want.
If you have a collar place it high on the neck(towards the ears off the neck muscle)
Only allow forward movement when the dog doesnt pull
an example of this is changing direction- when there is tension on the lead change direction-
on changing direction it releases the tension – as soon as the dog pulls again change direction again
Dont give up – he will start to slow down and look at you for direction and soon will realise pulling is getting him nowhere.
I have had a couple of confirmed strong pullers (older rescue dogs) and tried this method which worked (as i refused to be one of those people being dragged down the street by a dog!!)
Good luck and dont worry about looking silly during training!!

She’s still pretty young–it’s illegal to take a pup away from her mother before age 8-10 weeks. You’re starting out right with the "sit" command. Take some time and go to a book store and look at training books. Even one of those yellow and black "Dummie" books would be good, I bet. I don’t know if there is one for training dogs, but they have them for eveything else.

Sometimes my puppy would go right away especially in the morning, and sometimes,I walked around for 30 minutes, If your dog doesn’t go with in half an hour, I would bring her back in, but it varies greatly dog to dog.
