I want to get my associate degree in Human Resources Management, but before I do that I want to get a certificate in Project Management so that I can make a little bt more while working on my associate degree. What kind of careers could I do if I had a certificate in Project Management? Thank You.
Hey! Project Management certification is like a Master Degree. You’ll need about 16 credit hours of Project Management course work and then pass a certification test. I doubt very seriously if anyone would hire a Project Manager without a four year degree in that particular field. Also the combined cost of a Project Management certification and a associate degree would take in time and cost the same as a bachelor degree. Plus I haven’t seen to many opening available for a Project Manager for Human Resources. HR is not doing projects that require this type of skill. If you want to build something or design a complicated system you’ll need a PM to coordinate all the activity and keep it on schedule.
